Upon arrival at Skydive 35, the paperwork, instructional, equipment prep, plane ride, jump, and equipment removal will usually be completed in 45 minutes to 1 hour. However, you need to be prepared to stay approximately 3 hours in case of inclement weather, equipment issues, etc. If you are not prepared to stay this length of time, please do not schedule your jump that day. Skydiving is not done in a controlled environment where we can ensure an exact time table. We will do our best to stay on schedule. Everyone will jump in the order that they arrive. On occasion, there is an exception to this policy when adjustments need to be made to load the plane more efficiently.
Yes, our weight limit for all Tandem Skydives and Student Skydives is 230 pounds. You must also be height/ weight proportional (See image below). There is however an additional fee of $1 per pound over 200 lbs.
This weight limit is based on the weight limit of the equipment we use and on being able to safely exit the aircraft. The equipment is designed, tested, and certified by the manufacturer for a certain maximum suspended weight.
Due to safety issues, bringing your own GoPro is not permitted.
The average Skydiver falls approximately 120 miles per hour. It is however possible, to exceed 200 plus miles per hour!
We cannot guarantee that you will be on the same load as the group you schedule with. Each person is matched up with a tandem instructor based on his/her weight; as such, sometimes members of the same group may end up on different loads. Occasionally, if a large group wishes to go together, we may have to take you out of reservation order to make that happen.
You must be at least 18 years of age with a current photo ID. A parent cannot sign for their underage children in the State of Texas. We will not make any exceptions to this rule.
Comfortable clothing for the weather and sneakers (no boots or sandals, please). You may want to leave your jewelry at home because we will probably ask you to remove it anyway.
Yes, we can capture your thrilling experience with video and multiple high-resolution digital photos downloaded to a USB. Both of which are available at an additional charge.
Reservations are required if you want to be able to make a skydive. We are usually booked up one week in advance and sometimes two. A credit card is required to schedule a tandem skydive. A $100 non-refundable deposit per person will be required to make a reservation. Upon arrival, the customer may pay for the remainder of his/her jump by credit card or receive a discount by paying with cash.
No. Based on past experience, a Tandem Skydive is required for your first jump. Tandem Skydives are an excellent way to be introduced to the sport of skydiving. You will be attached to a qualified Skydiving Instructor, who is responsible for all of the important decisions. Tandem Skydives are cheaper, faster, and far safer than going solo on your first skydive.
The sensation of freefall is more like flying than falling. You will not get a falling sensation when you jump out of the airplane. The parachute flight is peaceful and quiet and will allow you to take in the beauty of the hill country. On a clear day, you can see Downtown Fort Worth and Dallas, making this one of the most scenic adventures offered in the area.
Please arrive at the scheduled time slot. If you are a morning customer and arrive too early, you may have to wait to check in as we prepare the dropzone for customers.
*The remainder of your payment will be due (less your $100 deposit) when you arrive at our facility. Any credit card charges will incur a 2.5% fee.
High altitude jumps are limited to customers between 18 and 69 years of age.
Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
